Lack of Confidence and Confidence

Confidence is key to unlocking everything.
This may be a shock and awe to you but Its but a lie.
By Saying that you have the most money is the definition of confidence,
I will teach my sons and daughters that
Down the road.
I have my priorities straight because
Tweeting about confidence
Is more human like in my era then
showing confidence.
Hear this..
Confidence isn’t shown,
In today’s world it’s a lie that,
Confidence will make you happy.
In the future,
someone who cuts themselves for lack of confidence, will be just another sad story.
No longer will it be heard of
That confidence can solve all of life’s problems.
The evidence will strongly show
That lost of confidence is the best way to go.
Only dumb asses believe
Confidence is out there.

... This poem is a great example of my theme Confidence. It  relates to my first quote by Joe Paterno that states, confidence can solve all of life's problems. This poem is a palindrome which means it can be read both downwards and upwards. When reading the poem downwards the narrator uses quotes such as "Confidence is the definition of money."(Zimmer,3) which gives the idea of someone who lacks confidence. However, when you read the poem upwards the narrator states things such as "confidence is the key to unlocking everything" (Zimmer,1) which suggest the narrator has confidence in themselves and others around them. As explain in the quote above,  pride, loyalty, discipline, heart, and mind can only travel with you for so long, but what you need to reach success is confidence.I believe the poem going upwards is prime example of this quote because it explains that without confidence life's problems would be much harder to come by."Confidence is the key to unlocking everything"(Zimmer 1)...
